Hmmmmm
Ok so I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day. It has always been one of my favorite holidays. Perhaps, because I am a Navy Brat, with both of my parents having served thier time, perhaps because it is not a highly commercialized holiday. Memorial Day is about remembering those who have given,and are giving thier lives to protect our freedoms. Regardless of how you feel about the war itslef, there are men and women over there risking life and limb for you and I. It is about the troops, not the gov't. I appreciate all they have done and will continue to do! Thank You!!!

Just wanted to say HI! I came here from the Big Girl Knits group emails (I'm just reading emails from looooong ago).
I wanted to comment on your anniversary ideas -- this year was our 11th, and we agreed not to do gifts, but we did go out to dinner and a movie. As it turned out, they weren't on the same night, as I was beat by work, but it did happen. Dinner out happens somewhat frequently, but not at the nicer places, and the movies only happens every couple of months. So it was nice!

Was just scrolling through the last few posts that I missed...I love the family pics!! And look at that sweet smile on Little B's face in the one with their names on it - how adorable! I hate having my pic taken too...really hate it and cringe every time I see my pic.
